This class will focus on drawing various subjects (landscapes, florals, still life, op art, pop art and animals just to name a few).  We will learn about various artists and the different approaches to create some unique work. No painting or drawing skills necessary, we're here to have fun and experience something new together!

Appropriate for mixed ages of 5 and up


This 5-session course will take place in the Fall of 2023

Limited availability (small class size)

Dates: 9/12/2023 - 10/10/2023 

(9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3 + 10/10)

Day: TUESDAYS

Time: 4:00- 4:50pm

Location: The Arts Avenue Club: near Kings Court (exact address will be emailed once registered, you may also contact me directly beforehand for location)

+ ALL art materials are included in price

+ Class art sessions are appropriate for ages 5 and up, the classes are a mixed age group with various abilities

+ Classes will be held indoors, or outdoors depending on the weather. If your child is sick, please stay home. We can make up the class at another day/time that works best.

A gift for children

The Arts Avenue Club is a gift for children on the Hill. My five-year-old son is a gentle journaler who'd rather be holding a paintbrush than a fistful of slime. He found his perfect after-school activity in this creative cohort led by the gracious, warm Ms. Monica. Studying under her age-tailored guidance, my child learned about color, technique, and expression -- all in the cozy comfort of Ms. Monica's home. We will be back for more sessions!

Best part of the week

My 6-year-old daughter absolutely loved Monica's art classes. She was always super excited to go and said it was her favorite part of the week! I was always very impressed with the artwork she came home with as well. We would definitely like to enroll again.
